CATALOG & STOCK
Check stock and movements after a sale
Match products, outlets and units before adjusting stock. Investigate differences using item records.
Before you start
- Products or ingredients are listed with the required stock-tracking configuration.
- You have inventory access for the outlet. Some capabilities depend on the plan.

Examples use demo data. Menus can vary by business type, plan and account permissions.
Select the outlet and find the item
In the Dashboard, open Catalog & Stock, then Branch Stock. Select the sale's outlet and search by name or SKU. Match units: grams, milliliters and pieces are not interchangeable.
Trace recorded movements
Read Stock & WAC, then check Movements & Ledger. Match times and references with receipts, incoming stock, transfers and adjustments.
Sales affect stock according to item settings. Ingredient deductions need correct recipes and units; not every product automatically deducts every ingredient.
Compare with physical quantities
Count the same item at the same location. Investigate pending sales, damage, internal use, incoming stock and transfers before changing figures.
Use Stocktake where your plan and permissions allow. Record the count and a reviewable explanation, then check synchronization.
Example: 27 units recorded, 26 counted
This illustration follows one retail SKU at one outlet: 20 opening units, 10 received and 3 sold in completed sales. With no returns, damage, internal use or transfers, expected stock is 20 + 10 - 3 = 27 units.
If the physical count is 26 units, check units, SKU, receiving time and sales in Movements & Ledger. Explain the one-unit difference from records before making an adjustment.
This example does not use ingredient recipes. For food and drinks, check recipe quantities and unit conversions before comparing ingredient stock with menu sales.
Review the result and reports
Check the final balance and movement history after saving. In Reports, use the same period and outlet to review sales and Stock Movements & Cost of Goods where your plan permits.
Check the result
The final balance can be explained by sales and movements, or by an adjustment with a documented reason.
HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT
